Course Description

The course Building Great PowerPoint Presentations: The Zen of Slides was a very popular part of the IDI Instructor Symposium, and is now being offered at the Regional Training Center as a new course.

Design is what comes at the beginning, during the initial planning stages of your slide presentation. Once you understand how you are going to design, you will be able to organize the information so it is visually impacting, clear, effective, and ultimately easier for the spectator to understand. The course is a half day in duration. In this course, the student will learn how to creatively reimagine their existing slideshows into more visually appealing, and effective visual aids. At the conclusion of the course, the student will have created and presented a slideshow that visually communicates a clear and effective message that compliments a well-delivered verbal presentation.
