Course Description

This 24-hr course has been designed to provide experienced sexual assault investigators with additional strategies in investigating reports of adolescent and adult sexual assault. Building on the knowledge and skills gained in the 40-hr ICI Sexual Assault Investigations course, students will have an opportunity to expand the knowledge and skills in this area of investigation. Students will learn about current trends and advanced investigative techniques for these often complex cases in order to assist them in preparing a case for successful prosecution.

Course Prerequisites

There are no required course pre-requisites, however, it is strongly recommended that students attending this course have taken the ICI Sexual Assault Investigations (40hr) course and the ICI Core Course.
