ABOUT THE RCS

The San Diego County-Imperial County Regional Communications System (RCS) provides public safety voice and data communications to more than 200 local, state, and federal agencies in the San Diego and Imperial counties. The RCS’ vision is to provide our users with seamless communication with their own and other public safety/service agencies. No one’s safety should be in jeopardy because public safety/service personnel can’t communicate with one another. The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department’s Wireless Services Division oversees the operation and maintenance of the RCS.
